LAST UPDATED · 18 SEPTEMBER 2026
These terms apply to bookings for events and services offered by Karen Hyatt, trading as Karen Hyatt Sound Healing & Wellbeing (“Karen”, “we” or “us”). By making a booking, you agree to these terms and any event-specific information shown before payment. Contact: karenhyatt25@gmail.com.
01
booking & payments
A booking is confirmed when payment is received or you receive written confirmation from Karen. Please check the event, date, time, venue and any eligibility information before paying. Prices are shown in pounds sterling. Where a third-party booking or payment provider is used, its technical and payment terms may also apply, but these Terms remain the agreement between you and Karen for the experience itself.
02
cancelations, transfers and refunds
The cancellation and refund information shown on the event listing or at checkout forms part of these Terms. Sound baths, retreats and similar sessions are leisure activities provided on a specific date, so the usual 14-day cooling-off right may not apply. Unless the listing says otherwise, missing an event does not create an automatic right to a refund. If you cannot attend, contact Karen as soon as possible; a name transfer or credit may be offered where practical, but is not guaranteed.
03
If Karen changes or cancels an event
Occasionally an event may need to move, change format, use a different venue or be led with support from another suitable practitioner. Karen will tell booked guests about any significant change using the contact details supplied. If Karen cancels an event, you will be offered a transfer, credit or refund of the ticket price. Karen is not responsible for separate travel, accommodation or other costs unless the law requires otherwise.
04
Suitability, wellbeing and personal responsibility
These experiences are intended for relaxation and general wellbeing. They are not medical treatment, diagnosis, psychotherapy or a substitute for professional healthcare. If you are pregnant, use an implanted medical device, have a sound-sensitive condition, are receiving treatment or are unsure whether an experience is suitable, seek advice from an appropriate healthcare professional and contact Karen before booking. You remain responsible for deciding whether to take part and for following reasonable safety guidance.
05
At the venue
Please arrive at the time stated, follow venue rules and treat other guests, staff and the space with care. Karen may refuse admission or ask someone to leave where behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, discriminatory, abusive or affected by alcohol or drugs. In those circumstances, a refund may not be provided. Tell Karen in advance about access needs or equipment you may need so reasonable adjustments can be explored. Personal belongings remain your responsibility.
06
Children, groups and private bookings
Age requirements will be stated on the relevant event page. Where under-18s are permitted, they must be booked by and remain the responsibility of a parent, guardian or authorised adult. For group, school, workplace or private bookings, the person making the booking confirms that they have authority to agree the arrangements and will share relevant information with participants. Separate written proposals or contracts may add to these Terms.
07
Photography, recordings and content
Karen will ask separately before using identifiable photographs, video or testimonials for marketing; you can decline without affecting your booking. Guests must not record another person without permission. Website copy, branding, photographs, event materials and session resources belong to Karen or their respective owners and may not be copied, sold or reused commercially without written consent.
08
Liability and consumer rights
Karen will provide services with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot legally be excluded. Karen is not responsible for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable, for loss caused by information you did not share when reasonably asked, or for business losses arising from a consumer booking. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
09
Website, complaints and governing law
Information on the website is provided in good faith and may be updated. Links to other websites are supplied for convenience and Karen does not control their content. If something has gone wrong, email karenhyatt25@gmail.com so there is a fair chance to put it right. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you have where you live. These Terms may be updated; the version in force when you book will apply to that booking.
